I am Chuanyu, now a senior system engineer and researcher at NIO building in-vehicle operating system. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at UConn, working with Dr. Song Han, where I did research on Real-Time System and its application on Time-Sensitive Networking (Google Scholar). My Ph.D. research was partially supported by NASA RETHi project and PW-IASE fellowship.
Before that, I received my B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering at Qingdao University, and earned several global/national championship in data science competitions with Dr. Shunyao Wu. During the pandemic, I spent a year volunteering at Datawhale, contributing to open-source AI education. Before that, I was focused on indie music, and one of our songs randomly went viral in 2017. In my spare time, I do open-source development (Github) and some fun apps (Apple Store/TestFlight). Recently enjoy running, music, VR gaming and learning vim.
